| Islam
is a monothiestic religion which came into existence
after the prophet Muhammad received messages from
Allah (God) which complete the earlier messages of
prophets of Judaism and Christianity. Moslems accept
the teachings of those religions but believe them
to be incomplete. It is through the words of God as
transmitted to Muhammad that the full truth emerges.
Often misunderstood in the west, Islam is a religion
of peace.
